The experienced technical and marketing staff at dBm specializes in RF link impairment emulation for terrestrial and satellite wireless systems. Our link emulation products have been used in virtually every major satellite system developed since the early 1990s.  Below is a listing of the products we offer.

Synthesized Signal Generator The SSG provides a low noise, fast settling, CW output from 10 MHz to 4 GHz. These high performance generators are a fraction of the size and cost of most generators. Easy to use, lightweight, and takes up very little space. Front panel programming of frequency and amplitude. LAN, GPIB, and RS232 interfaces.

Satellite Link Emulation The SLE creates dynamic emulation of delay, Doppler effects including carrier shift and chip period variation, path loss, flat fading, and phase shifts for virtually any LEO, MEO, or GEO orbit.

Carrier to Noise Generators The CNG automatically sets and maintains extremely accurate C/N ratios by combining internally generated Additive White Gaussian noise with the user's signal.

White Gaussian Noise Generators The WGN outputs extremely accurate calibrated white Gaussian noise that can be set in terms of noise density or noise power in a defined bandwidth.

RF Converters Up and down converters with high dynamic range, covering L-band, Ku band, and ultra-broadband 0.4 - 18 GHz.

RF Interfaces dBm offers RF interfaces to simplify the integration of complex test stations. Capabilities include signal routing and switching, channel attenuation, and multiplexing. These instruments can have manual or IEEE-488 control interfaces.

Frequency Synthesizers Broadband frequency synthesizers and phase locked oscillators from HF through 30 GHz.

Broadband Solid State Attenuators Solid state broadband step attenuators. The repeatability and accuracy of relays, with the reliability of solid state. The attenuators are available as single units or in banks of 16 channels with a single control port.
